Knowledge for the Soul - Daily Al-Aziz (The Almighty) The one to whom belongs might and honour in its entirety, the might and honour of strength, of conquest and of prevention. Everything in existence, seen and unseen, needs Him for everything, He is too difficult to reach, no one can ever encompass Him in knowledge. So a man can only reach Him as a created slave of His (swt). Your transgressions cannot tarnish His ‘Izzah(might, honour and power) and no amount of your disobedience can lower His Might. He grants izzah to only those of His slaves who seek it through Him alone, who do not seek it in other than Him (swt). “Izzah (might, honour and power) belongs to Allah, to His Messenger and to the believers, but the hypocrites know not.” (Surat Al-Munāfiqūn: V. 8) Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (RA) said,We were the most humiliated people on earth and Allah gave us honour through Islam. If we ever seek honour through anything else, Allah will humiliate us again.
