Knowledge is POWER PEOPLE SAY I AM SO LUCKY...I SAY I AM SOOOO BLESSED (See why...Sorry for the length) Who is Lucky? According to thefreedictionary the word means “having or attended by good luck, occurring by chance..” just like the unbiblical theory of evolution that states everything accidentally happened (big bang) and there was no God involved. But that still does not tells us where the word came from. The word lucky and luck does not occur once in the KJV Bible: So if these words is not found in the purest english translation of the Bible we have, where does it come from? According to the “Online Etymology Dictionary” the word lucky originated in the 15′de century from the word luck[1]. The synonym of the word lucky is fortunate and that word originally comes from the Greek word fortuna who was “lady luck” in Roman times. Fortuna is exactly the same as the Greek goddess tyche[2]. Tyche literally means “luck”[3] in Greek! Now we have it! According to the Greek man Polybius, he believes that all unexplained events such as droughts, floods and frost were done by Tyche[4]. See below picture of the idol Tyche: In the Babylonian culture lady luck’s full name was, Tyche Nikephoros. Some of the coins in Antiochus IV’s time had the figure of Tyche on it and they were made in Babylon. See example of a coin with lady luck on[5]: And like all of us know, the religious kingdom of Babylon started just after the great flood by the building of the “tower of babel” (Gen 11:1-9 KJV) by Nimrod. Nimrod (Gen 10:8-10 KJV) was a mighty hunter before the eyes of the LORD, not hunting for animals but human babies to sacrifice them to his made up god moloch to control humans by fear. It is also in Babylon, where lucifer’s mystery religion started and is still influencing all world empires, religion, language, music, media and anything that can be influenced. Rev 17:5, “.. Mystery, Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth.” If you would like to learn more of Babylon, I would recommend the following article written by Philip du Toit[6]. How does lady luck operate? Tyche is luck and the fable of her comes from Babylon. In the next picture we see how lady luck spins the “Wheel of Fortune” that belongs to her. While she turns the wheel, people around her, pray that luck will fall in their favour; It is worrying that many of us, as depicted in the picture above, put our hope unwittingly on luck rather than God. We do this mainly in two ways: 1. We wish someone: “Good Luck”. 2. When we say: “I was very lucky” when something happened to us. Our generation is so influenced by lucifer that some Bible translators did not hesitate to add the word lucky in the Bible. The following verse appears in the NLT translation of the Bible: Proverbs 17:8 “A bribe is like a lucky charm: Whoever gives one wants Prosper!” Can you believe it? So according to the NLT translation you will prosper if you bribe someone! It’s at this point that I realized there was something behind this word lucky and it’s not of God! Trying to steal the honour! Satan made up this fable of luck to try and steal the glory that belongs to the creator God. (KJV) Isaiah 14:13-14 ” For thou hast said in thine heart, I[Lucifer] will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” The truth is, God made everything and gives everything! God bless the fools and transgressors, (KJV) Proverbs 26:10 “The great [God] that formed all [things] both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors.” God even decides the outcome of a lottery; (KJV) Proverbs 16:33 “The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof [is] of the LORD.” Luck really does not exist, there is no god except God! (KJV) Isaiah 45:5-8 “I am the LORD, and there is no other beside me there is no God: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me. That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there is] none beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things].” Miracles Don’t you sometimes wonder where all the miracles is the Bible always talk about? Is it not that mankind today “believes” anything random can happen anytime without it being classified as a miracle? Think about it, what would you classify as a miracle today? There are actually plenty of miracles happening around us that most of us just accepted as something that happens randomly or by luck. Now what? Repent – give all glory to God from now on! Take note on what you tell other people concerning luck. Remember one day we must all give account for every word that came from our mouth. Matthew 12:36-37 “But I tell you that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account in the judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Open your eyes and see the miracles, blessings and salvation of God in your life. My prayer is that the spiritual blindfold from Babylon will be removed from your eyes for you to see God in your everyday life! I thank the Holy Spirit for the insight to write this article.
