Ko Van Dommelen is again outstanding in the International ZLU races in 2013! In August we begin with the first top auction on TopPigeons of youngsters bred from his stock pigeons! After the dream season of 2012 in which KO van Dommelen won almost everything to be won in the International classics, the question was could he possibly repeat that in 2013. Now that question has been more than answered. Ko is again way out on his own in the ZLU races. His strain is not only dominating in his own loft but also in the lofts of numerous other fanciers! Two National wins have already been recorded in 2013 by pigeons bred from Ko van Dommelen birds. To be exact: National Marseille in Belgium by Tony Huibregts and the 5th International only to be beaten by four pigeons from the Vendee region in France! National St Vincent NPO Section 1 by Mr. van Waasdorp In his own loft three ZLU crystal trophies has already been won with the following prizes: 3rd ZLU PAU 12th ZLU MARSEILLE 25th ZLU ST. VINCENT And once again KO is in the running for all the major championships! This was not really to be expected after four of the leading pigeons in his loft went to stud, including; - THE BULLDOZER 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon ZLU WHZB 2012 by winning 5th Bordeaux and 7th Narbonne - THE NARBONNE 1st National Narbonne and crowned Best Ace Pigeons Narbonne over 3 years. - THE JONGE HULK: Best International Ace Pigeon over a period of 5 years in the PIPA IATP ranking and the ZLU This season commenced with a small racing team containing lots of yearlings. Eight pigeons were sent to the first International race from Pau And straight away Ko won early prizes! PAU National ZLU 3124 birds 3rd -216th -257th -264th -318th - 332nd and winner of the sixth series 2 and the third and sixth series 3. Then came National ZLU Agen Agen Yearlings 4386 b., 16 entered 31st – 146th -287th -887th -953rd -1074th - 1095th Agen Old Birds, 4 entered 594th -761st -1470th Barcelona, 3 entered ST. VINCENT National ZLU 3294 b. (very tough race) 6 entered 25th - 120th - 164th – 213th with his top four nominated birds, winner of the first series 2 and the first series 3. A brilliant start to the season and very promising for the races that are coming. MARSEILLE National ZLU (Tough Race) 2916 b. 5 entered 12th - 320th Other fanciers are doing exceptionally well with the Van Dommelen pigeons! Here we have some examples: 1st National Marseille Belgium, raced by Tony Huibregts and also winning 5th International 1st Nat. St. Vincent S1 NPO is a 50% Van Dommelen 23rd Nat. Barcelona by Batenburg v/d Merwe is a 50% Van Dommelen pigeon Etc. etc.!! In Augustus an amazing auction will commence on TopPigeons containing about 14 youngsters from his stock pigeons.
