Kochadaiyaan Welcomed by huge roars and resounding screams and whistles, the whole film was an engaging ride ! A rush that started in the veins when an S popped on the screen to display the word Superstar in a sequItse, never fell till the movie ended with credits ! What more do you need in a film than entertainment ? Rajinikanth is at the height of his mass figure ! The majestic walk, the charming smile and wise cracks was all that we ever wanted. He carries some immensely powerful dialogues that thunders at the right moments to make his fans go berzerk. His sincere efforts to make up his work after a critical health flaw is really amazing. Hats off ! The rest of the cast did a very good job. The VFX persons have sadly contributed a lot in designing Thalaivar so much, that they did not pay much attention to other characters. Deepika Padukone and Sarath Kumar had disappointing avatars ! Yet the VFX team scores by bringing out the ever green Nagesh alive on screen and it was a fine treat ! The graphics is, as expected, not good. Having watched so many Hollywood animation flicks, Kochadaiyaan is noticeably dull ! The main drawback of the film. But this is the first kind effort of a debutant director in India. And also the film budget is no near to its Hollywood beaters. So given that, the movie is actually a sincere effort and the first milestone in Indian cinema. Congrats to Soundarya ! K.S.R too has done a fine job with the story and screenplay in his usual style that satisfies audience. A.R. Rehman has proved to be a musical genius once again. His BGM fits perfectly to the theme and Thalaivar. Though the songs all sound good they have been placed at the wrong spots that slows down the movie. No film can be perfect ! While VFX, songs and pace are its minus, Thalaivar, dialogues and screenplay are its plus. The latter pretty much covers the flaws up ! You go for fun, you get fun. You want mass ? Its got plenty. The film is Thalaivar all the way ! And the dialogues..you kidding ? Its a Thalaivar movie ! This is the best part so just scroll down.
