Kolkata Airport taxi counter does not fail to delight. The line for pre-paid taxi coupons is about 60-70 people deep while the radio taxi counter has no cabs. The yellow Ambassadors are as grungy as they always have been. And the trick question is always the same - do you want to go by bye-pass, to which the answer is also the same - go whichever way you want, a 50 rupee tip at the very least is yours, more if you dont use the horn, dont race, dont smoke, dont put radio on and dont make me bounce around more than the non-existent suspension of the ancient Ambassador is already at.
