We must identify those things that prohibit us as South African to achieve the change we need to establish a truly free society. The wrongs of the past have been identified, and action has been taken to rectify. Unfortunately, that authority has now been misused and distorted ofr political and personal gain. Today we stand at a place where the government is a mirror image of the old authorities. How can we move forward when our current black government keep classifying us and every endeavour we take based on race. how can we move forward when they mask racist policies such as BEE etc as being the remedy to the challenges of the past. Why do black people need to be empowered? Why can they not empower themselves through hard work and merit? Unfortunately many black South Africans have an attitude of entitlement, which will surely get them nowhere. How can we move forward when people are allowed to establish organisations that are exclusively for the benefit of black people... but when something is done where it might look like the majority of stakeholders are white it is stamped as being racist. I was at the DTI today to register a company... and there was a question "How many black people are in your company?" WHY is that relevant? How can we move forward when this racial undertone infects everything we do... Can you imagine how significant it will be when people will start to empower themselves instead of relying on a useless government to hand them everything on a silver platter. I am a proud South African, I am a patriot and will die for my God and country. I am proud of my heritage and culture as Afrikaner. I embrace my fellow South Africans of races and cultures... but as long as they keep blaming their current situation on the white South Africans, and as long as the government keep feeding the masses with lies of white prosperity while they die in their slumps, there will never be true unity.
