Kongnapa (Kongnapa Lumpa - Noppodal Lumpa / Kongnapa Watcharawit) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA via Thailand won his IKF Pro Muay Thai Rules Junior Middleweight World title on October 24, 1998 with a first round KO over Ryan Jones of Winnipage, Manitoba, Canada. In his first defense on February 26th, 2000 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA he defeated Dimitri Shakuta of Minsk Belarus by Majority decision, 48-46, 48-46 and 47-47. Kongnapas USA Trainer/Manager Duke Roufus Retired his Title on May 10th, 2000 after a career with 103 Pro Wins, 10 loses, 6 draws with 51 KO/TKOs. However, Kongnapa later told the IKF that he never retired but due to Roufus call, his title was vacated and won by someone else. On November 10th, 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA Kongnapa won his IKF Muay Thai World Title back when he defeated Pedro Villalobos of Atlanta, Georgia, USA by KO at 1:54 of round 2. Kongnapas title was retired in 2005 when he informed the IKF he was no longer fighting.
