Lawn chairs in yard violate law ALBUQUERQUE - An Albuquerque resident is upset and defiant after an overzealous city inspector sent her a letter saying her lawn chairs violated city law. Albuquerque Code Enforcement Department saying that two lawn chairs under a shady tree in front yard violated city zoning codes. The letter said the chairs were “outdoor storage items”. According to city code, you could be fined up to $300 if refused to remove the chairs.
