On June 7, 2005 a detailed military report on handling the Koran by Gitmo military personnel was distributed: Intent - To ensure the safety of the detainees and MPs while respecting the cultural dignity of the Korans Inspection - The MP informs the detainee that the Chaplain or a Muslim interpreter will inspect Koran Handling - Clean gloves will be put on in full view of the detainees prior to handling Removal – Korans should be left in the cell as a general rule (save in MSU), even when a detainee is moved to another cell or block Christians and the Bible, not so much: An October 23, 2013 a report from Fox News said this: “Soldiers attending a pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood say they were told that evangelical Christians and members of the Tea Party were a threat to the nation and that any soldier donating to those groups would be subjected to punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.” Under the Obama administration, Bibles have also been removed from Navy hospitals while crosses have been removed from chapels. As the military goes through the fundamental transformation that the president promised America, it will become increasingly difficult for Christians in the military to practice their faith. Satan, the ruler of this world, knowing his time is short is perusing “those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” Revelation 12:17.
