Kormorant get regular reports from the local SAPS that arrest were made of people in possession of dagga. Strangely, the last few of these arrests were made in Scott Street - in close proximity of the police station, Why is Possession of Dagga such a major crime when Damdoryn is known by all Gautengs drug users as the Drug Supermarket? Why is a Nigerian with an AK47 guarding the front door of the Drugden at Damdoryn tolerated but a person in possession of dagga wasting the valuable time and resources of the local SAPS? There are hundreds of members of our community in possession of dagga - on a daily basis - most of them harmless. The Drug Supermarket at Damdoryn however is a major threat to our community.
