Korwynn Cedryk Schey is one very loved and very blessed boy. Without the prayers of God’s saints, our friends and families, the path Krysti and I have trod may have been very different. But because of God’s immense, inestimable and infinite grace, His Majesty is made glorious in Korwynns birth. So here we are at the end of all things today, at rest, and two months shy of our 5-year anniversary. Very little of our married life so far has been what one might consider “normal.” In fact, since our marriage began we have weathered tests unexpected and have reached accomplishments unforeseen. Through it all, by God’s unmistakable providence, has been the loving support of family and friends, giving sacrificially and without reservation, keeping their vows they made to us on our wedding day to do everything possible to love and support us in our lives and marriage. To them we can never repay the debt owed them by us, save that we in turn take the pure grace given to us as in the very manner of God Himself, and we bestow that same pure, unconditional love to our newborn son, Korwynn, and any other offspring unknown in the possible future. By passing on our parents’ and legacy of love, we fulfill another aspect of being made in the image of God; and our parents’ joy and their love, lavished on us since before we ourselves were born, just like our Heaven Father, is made complete. May we years from now be so humbly and sacredly honored to see the fruits of Godly, selfless love rewarded through the lives of our own children.
