Kosher Pickle Factory - Okay, we have to admit, The KA Team loves kosher pickles and we know you do too! Why not join up for a kosher pickle-making workshop on this afternoonb run by Jewish House. Heres some information about the event: The traveling Kosher pickle factory as led by Rabbi Pickle is a hands on pickle making demonstration that uses the same method as the original pickle masters of the famed Lower East Side of New York. Participants will learn the history behind the art of pickle making, learn about each of the ingredients used and the method and walk away with their very own container of pickles. During the workshop, participants will also gain an understanding of the kosher lifestyle and gain insight to the deeper meaning of many of the ingredients. So not only would participating in this activity make for interesting dinner conversation ... you will get to enjoy a fabulous crunchy side dish as well!
