Koshiki Contact Karate Sport a new version ....aiming towards the modern, prospective and recognition combat sport another option of the karate sport. Changing already taken place in Japan, Hong Kong, etc. Malaysia will as well follow too. Safety is the main priority to both the fighters when in free sparring, just alone the bogu is not enough but safety for the fist, instep, etc. very important too to meet with the safety requirement as set upon by International Olympics Council. Even the attire for Referees and Judges are different, the attire of the Koshiki practitioners are wearing the karategi without the stripes on just as the ruling in WKF (World Karate Federation). The Koshiki Sport is a hard contact system where they are truly punch, strike and kick without control .... different from the karate sport. Koshiki Karate in Malaysia will change what is good and benefit to its members, this year Open Championship all qualified Referees and Judges will wear a tie instead of hakama. All the stripes on their dogi have to remove in near future, we are karateka should wear karategi. Further notice and amendment will be informed.
