Kris was hospitalized at Charlton Hospital in Fall River on Sunday, June 9, due to complications with breathing and movement of limbs, etc. They did tests and kept him overnight. Kris was discharged on Monday morning and went home with his mother and other family members. Immediately upon arriving home, Kris suddenly appeared very ill and stopped breathing altogether. A friend of the family performed CPR and an ambulance was called. Paramedics worked on Kris for a long time but were unable to save him. They are completing a required autopsy to try and determine the exact cause of death. It is important to say that substances were NOT involved, either. Calling hours will be held this Sunday, June 16, from 3-8 PM, at the Saunders-Dwyer Funeral Home, 495 Park Street, New Bedford, MA 02740. His funeral will be held the following day, Monday, at the funeral home, beginning at 11 AM. Kris will be buried in the Rural Cemetery, 149 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, following the funeral service.
