Krishnan RamaKrishnan Iyer I fell from a height of about 5 metres - TopicsExpress

Krishnan RamaKrishnan Iyer I fell from a height of about 5 metres that is roughly about 16.5 feet and about to land on the hatch cover made of steel. while falling I shouted for help. nobody around as it was about lunch time. we are sailing from South Africa to India and the wind was very strong which carried my body on the air and hit the hatch cover almost 30 feet away from where I fell. thats when I remembered your demonstration and turned my body in the air in such way to protect my head landing on the steel hatch cover. my back and left hip touched the steel plate first and head was protected from the hit. I could see the doctor only after seven days when the vessel reached India at Revdanda near Mumbai. doctors at Vikram hospital immediately took x-ray and said I had a small hairline crack to hip bone and just have to take rest for two weeks to be cured. I recovered without having any medication by only bed rest. if I had hit my head first I would not have been writing this reply today. this incident happened to me on the vessel MV.Jag Manek in November 1995. the strong winds that floated my body on the air by making me weightless up to a distance of almost 30 feet allowed me time to turn my body to protect my head. the helmet that I was wearing got blown away by the wind reason the chin strap was loose and that made think to do something to protect my head. 2 hours ago · Like Vajramukti Yoga Foundations Thank god Krishnan you remember those, it was grace of God i was just instrumental i cannot express my happiness in words .
