Kristen J Lynn update: Surgery done. Everything went great! Dr. Browning said shes healing wonderfully! 95% of the graft took....Boo Ya! No more surgery. Thats it. They were able to place her feeding tube laparoscopically, so tiny little incision, less pain and scar, also awesome news to hear! They will keep the wound vac on three more days then remove it bedside with her staples and stitches....I wonder if we can be there? That will be answered tomorrow when I talk with the Dr.s. I am so excited to see her tomorrow so I can tell her the good news. Even though these last few days have been extremely rough mentally for her, her body is fighting and winning and not only winning, kicking ass! We hope her anxiety will ease knowing that the surgeries are done. We are hopeful that she will be released by the end of next week into the rehab part of the journey (weve been told to expect 4-6 weeks for this phase). I am always reminded that I am blessed even in the hardest of times! Say a cheer!! We truly have reason to celebrate!
