Kristi of Houston, TX shares her lightning fast victorious hospital VBAC that happened this very morning! Holy cow guys! It was awesome! So about 2:40 am my contractions kept coming and were painful. Called my doula and she said take a shower or get in the tub to see if they went away. Tried to get in the tub and they didnt. Handled them well, called my doula to have her head my way. When she was on her way I told my husband to call her back as I felt pressure. She was concerned we wouldnt make it to the hospital. My in-laws were on the way and when they got to our house at about 5:15 am, we left. Checked in at triage at 5:51 am. They checked me and I was complete. They ran me up to L&D and called my OB. Got me settled as quick as they could. I felt my body pushing. My doctor came in and I pushed. She was just about out and I said I cant do it any more and then I helped catch after her head was out. She was born at 6:51 am. 8 lbs 6 oz. 22 inches. 2nd degree tear which was fun to repair but it was mostly along my old tear/episiotomy. Her umbilical cord was in a knot around her foot. [picture below] They kept saying I was the calmest and smiliest patient to come in complete. Im still sort of shocked. #vbacstories #hospitalVBAC #vbacfacts
