Kristina Mantere-Eberhart I made a appointment to our vet to take my 10 month old Aussie Marley to get neutered until I spoke to lady who breeds Aussies that I really should wait till his at least 2 years old. She told me that new research has shown that herding breeds like ours suffer broken bones, hip desplasia, personality chances and so on if they have been altered too young. Supposed they need their hormones until their reach their full growth. Has any one else heard anything about this? This is a fairly new study, but in a many ways it does makes sense.
