Kristyn, I asked for your address earlier so I could send you a CD with Scripture lullabies like the one below (I sent you Hidden in My Heart, Volume I). My daughter was in Cincinnati Childrens a total of 6 weeks (PICU for 3 of those) exactly one year ago when she was 3 y.o. I couldnt write all this in the Amazon message but someone sent me a few of these CDs to play in her PICU room and they were so encouraging and brought us all so much peace. Child Life specialists brought us a CD player to use. My daughter had some brain inflammation and when she came out of her unresponsiveness she would scream all night, but hearing the Scripture sung to her calmed us all. I loved seeing someone play music for Audrina the other day and it made me remember this CD, music (and Scripture) is great therapy! I remember being so distraught I didnt know how to pray, I couldnt think clearly, I just cried, sobbed, begged God would save my baby girl. You have been so much stronger than me! I had a group page too, and feel like I was often having meltdowns! I was so grateful for the body of Christ lifting up my little girl, she had thousands praying for her. Romans 8:26: In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. i felt guilt not knowing how to pray, but was so grateful the Spirit was helping me along with the body of Christ. We dont know each other but your story has touched my heart and I pray this music can help bring you some peace.
