Krsna, not Material Society, is our Only Permanent Refuge — The prospect of material happiness in this modern world is dimming rapidly. Only ostriches cant see that from their cozy little perspectives, but the truth is we need to forget about putting so much attention on fulltime economic development, college for our children, stock markets, realty deals, etc., and understand we are headed for big changes in the world, and those bodily things can become insignificant. We as devotees are so fortunate to have Krsna to take us through these tremendous upheavals. Every day the news confirms that everything is going to hell fast in this modern materialistic world -- a world that has all but completely turned their backs on religious principles. I know that as devotees we are not so much interested in mundane things, but to have some idea of the outside world will help us make some preparations to protect our families, etc. respectfully Mahananda dasa
