Kudos to Dave Mason for sharing this. (I fast-forwarded it right to where The Hendrix Experience starts.) Jimi Hendrix is just one of many unbelievable artists that I never had the chance to see. Unfortunately, watching old clips like this will be the closest I ever get. Whats really scary is that according to a friend of mine from many years back, promoter Bill Graham (who my friend knew personally) said that the public only got to see less than half of what Hendrix was actually capable of! Graham said that Jimi was bored by a lot of what he had already accomplished, but was afraid to introduce new music that he had created in fear of whether the public would approve because it was so different than what they had come to expect from him.
