Kudos to the BJP government led by Manohar Parrikar for bringing such a widespread "Parrivartan" in Goa. While the police is usually admonished(and rightly so) for not being there in time to nab the dacoits,robbers and culprits and have had many shortcomings most notable being the infamous rape incident of Vasco, and the benaulim Church Tabernacle case, it is shocking that an IPS officer especially of the rank of SP is shunted out and insulted for doing his job in raiding Drug Lords.In fact i wont be surprised if the SP was shunted because of the raids on Beauty Parlours in the coastal belt given that the BJP believes Prostitution should be legalised in order to increase revenue..Shortly we may have nothing left of our rich heritage and be forced to go the Bangkok or Pattaya way, where every female walking the road is looked upon as a call girl......And to top it the uneducated baffoon(sorry for insulting the baffoon) of a minister asks why strengthen the coastal police even after knowing that Goa has a vast coastline and the 26/11 attacks..But the most disgusting part was the transfer of the SP by the Honest and IITian home minister who is also the CM from North Goa to the Traffic Cell.Sadly our opposition Mlas conviniently sleep over such gross injustice.. hindustantimes/India-news/Goa/Goa-minister-calls-SP-a-goon-for-raiding-raves/Article1-1106240.aspx
