Kunle met Salima during an open mic show in Abuja. They got talking, gradually became friends and then as expected, they fell in love and hoped to get married. They planned to elope to benin republic because Salimas dad wouldnt allow it. She was betrothed to someone. Salima was a rich spoilt girl that had been into many relationships before she met kunle and she was his first love. Kunle on the other hand, though not from a poor background started living in a foster home after his parents died. Their first kiss was under the rain.The kiss was long overdue. They were in a park and it started raining. They were about to run towards a canopy beside the icecream shop when kunle grabed salima and kissed her passionately. It was so magical like an indian movie. Salima was so flustered that she couldnt complain of her hair getting wet by the rain. Kunle got a scholarship to study forensic science in the states and salima got admision to study security and inteligence studies in novena uni. They were so happy that they wil both make a formidable team in the police force when they graduate and elope. Unfortunately things changed few months after they departed. Kunle stopped calling and whenever she called him it hardly went through and whenever it did go through, he never picked. She dropped many voice messages but still got no reply. Salima concluded that Kunle had met someone else. She wept for weeks and decided to move on. The man she was betrothed to died in a motor accident therefore her dad gave her the freewill to marry whomever she wanted to. She got married in her 200level to Hassan Danbaba and their first issue were a set of twins. ****** ding dong The door bell rang. Salima wondered who in the devils name was trying to interrupt her movie. She had gone to visit her parents and they never told her anyone was coming. Ding dong it rang again and so she stood up and made for the door. Salima wished she never opened that door, she met the biggest suprise of the season; Kunle in front of her door and her husband standing behind him like roasted sphagetti. Salima.. Kunle whispered, he was about making a statement but was interrupted by Salimas kids who came running to the door. You married my brother?!! Kunle continued, as if almost collapsing. Hassan settled on the floor. Salima was confused. Kunle never told her he had a brother named Hassan. If she could remember, the only name he ever mentioned was Ayo whom he told her was taken to foster care too after their parents demise. But you never..... Yes! this is the Ayo I told you about Kunle interrupted her as if reading her thoughts. The three were thrown into a grippy state. Kunle peered at his brother who was now sitting on the floor, confused. Kunle had stopped calling because he was jailed, fortunately he got depoted for some reason and thats how he got back to Nigeria. Ayo changed his name to Hassan Danbaba because his foster parents asked him to, they believed it would be an advantage to him since he schooled in the north. And Salima married Hassan cause she thought Kunle would never come back. Hassan never knew his wifes ex was his brother because he never knew him as kunle. His real name is Akeem.
