Kunos Simulazioni has announced the release date and content of the next Assetto Corsa Early Access Beta update. To be released on July 18, the new update will add the famous Lotus 98T Formula One car to Assetto Corsa, adding the third historical Formula One car alongside the Ferrari 312T and the Lotus 49. The 98T was powered by a Renault EF15B V6 turbo engine, featuring pneumatic valve springs. Depending on boost pressure the EF15B was able to provide more than 1,000bhp in qualifying trim. Along with the new car, the new version will also introduce new AI improvements as Assetto Corsa moves closer to Release Candidate status.
