Kuseniseni am a man aged 23 engaged to a lady aged 20. We began the marriage procedure this year I want to her family was charged and I have since paid half of the amount though am yet to finish paying. But then I June this year while at home in the night I received a phone call from my mother in law who was very upset, she scolded me and told me that it was wrong for me to be getting her daughter and having her sleep away from home before I could finish all the marriage procedure. She went on to say that I was showing a very bad example to my fiancé’s siblings who should be looking up to her by making her sleep out. At that point I interjected and told her that the lady had not slept at my home and was not with me at all that day but she did not believe me. Than later on in the day she phoned me to apologies and told me that she had found out that her daughter had slept at her other daughter’s place. But when I asked my fiancée she gave me a different story she told me that she had slept at her aunt’s place as she had been helping her with her salon. After that I sat and thought to myself that they were both not telling me the truth, I think that my fiancée may have slept at another man’s place like the mother first suspected. As a result I have been having second thoughts we were supposed to have gotten married in September but I have not gone back to her family to conclude issues. I really need some advice because my fear is that if indeed she slept out than she has been doing it for a long time and she will continue with such behavior if I was to marry her and cause me problems.
