Kwasi Appiah a real victim of circumstances... before the world - TopicsExpress

Kwasi Appiah a real victim of circumstances... before the world cup, I said Kwasi Appiah will fail, through no fault of his... sadly the system conspired to rob him of space and mind to work. The powers that be ensured their favored players played, and begged on behalf of ruffians... Through it all Kwasi remained calm. When the supporters expressed their anger by supporting Uganda in Kumasi against we went for the scapegoat, Kwasi Appiah... even after winning against Togo in Lome a feat, few coaches of our land has achieved we still sacked him... I have said that in Ghana people dont get fired for poor performance (How else will Vanderpuye still be at post) they get fired because they fall out with the powers that be.... Kwasi has been used as a scapegoat... weve blamed the poor performance of the black stars on his tactical bankruptcy and forgotten about how the cabal at the FA connived with others to disgrace Ghana in Brazil... of which fall out we are reaping... But this strategy of picking a scape goat have worked over centuries. Robert Heinlein will aptly say: Hand the people a scapegoat to hate. Let them kill a scapegoat occasionally for cathartic release. The mechanism is ages old. Tyrants used it centuries before the word psychology was ever invented. It works, too. Now Kwasi is out of the way, but the rot at the FA remains unaddressed thanks to some FIFa rule of non interference. I wish Kwasi Appiah the very best in his future endeavors...
