Kyamuswa County MP Tim Lwanga says the position of secretary general in NRM should not be based on someone’s qualification but a capable personality that will be able to handle party affairs. He said most people who intend to take the position must forget about the issue of being in the position just because it’s big but must be focused to serve the interests of the party. Lwanga further noted that the secretary General must be in position to attract and recruit new members because it’s not an employment but a service to the party. This comes after John Patrick Amama Mbabazi finally went on leave as Secretary General of the ruling party till December 31st and left her deputy Dorothy Hyuha to take charge.
