Kyles update: Yesterday evening I went shopping for Kyle. We got him a re-conditioned laptop. We are hopeful this will keep him entertained. He was constantly asking Jim to bring his laptop to the facility for Kyle to use. Unfortunately, Jim uses his laptop every day for business. It was starting to be a problem. This may be a solution (we hope). Looks like it might be a couple of more weeks before he gets home. Following is the next Steptember article: Article 4 The Minnis Menagerie Therapy: Through the Doctor’s research, we found there were not a lot of options for therapy. We ended up going to a local therapy center and doing conventional therapy. When it did not work, I increased what we were doing and was praying for better results. What is that old saying about doing the same thing and expecting different results? Guess what, we did not get different results. They released us and said to give him a break for a while (otherwise stop pushing him so hard) and then come back. By now, Kyle was approaching two. We were at a loss, there did not seem to be another option. When things are dark, that is when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel… Picture: Kyle 2 years old To be continued...
