L Dianne Hill here, on Steves facebook page. Steves truck was broken into last night...they broke the back passenger door window, ruined the key hole, took the radio, the glovebox... AND All Steves documents NEEDED to pass through checkpoints that are everywhere between counties/ districts...AND TORE OUT THE COMPUTER BOX THAT CONTROLS ALL THE MECHANICS OF THE TRUCK.!!!! Steve and 8 people were to leave Cajamarca tomorrow at 7 am for a 10 hour trip - loaded down with things for the Work Week at Chulucanas....All the food, VBS Supplies, ETC !!! ...Now Steve is scrambling to get the police documentation and the insurance go-ahead to get these things fixed..PRAY THAT HE HAS SUCCESS AND A MECHANIC WILL GET ALL THE WORK DONE IN TIME FOR AN EARLY DEPARTURE ON SAT --at the latest. EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS SLOW IN PERU.... The Covenant Presbyterian Team from Oak Ridge, TN arrives in Lima Tomorrow night-- I (Dianne) am flying out of Cajamarca tomorrow afternoon to meet them and escort them to Piura on Sat. Steve, the Cajamarca folks and all the food and equipment needs to meet us there Sat night..... LOTS of things to Pray for!!!
