L O V E : As per Maulana Dr. Kalbe Sadiq Love can happens only once that is after marriage and before marriage it is nothing but LUST and I holds the same view. To find out reason behind this view we need to observe some lovers and their behavior on social network. Fortunately I observed someone deeply on facebook and watsapp. I will not reveal the name of that lover because humiliating someone is against the ethics of Islam therefore my post is for all who can read and understand what I want to convey. These are the ignorant people who doesnt understand the philosophy of Love and therefore they need to polish their soul. Nowadays some people are frequently seen in proclaiming the so called testimony of love i.e I Love You while some others are updating their statuses like Breakup or End of Relationship, feeling alone, etc. on facebook and watsapp. They just dont have works other than this. The question arises when you observe their behavior that what kind of love is this? Why do they love when they know that the relationship will gradually end? Isnt it a kind of time pass? The answer is a book long but Ill try to summarize it in two or three paragraphs only : Love is eternal but lust is a matter of few days and it is so because it lasts untill the external beauty is alive, and when the external beauty start decreasing, the lust automatically decrease or if the partner start getting bored he/she start hating each other which is a most common factor resulting in breakups today. Another most important proof in refutation of such foolish love are the early philosophers research analysis, almost all the early scholars of philosophy like Aristotle, Plato, Ibn Sina (Avicenna), Al-Farabi, Al-Ghazali, etc. believed that the human soul has some characteristics in common, out of these characteristics one is Rational and the other one is Sensitive. Rational soul is specifically meant for human beings for it is the quality of thinkers and therefore every human body possesses it. A human soul consists another Sensitive character which is also called Animal soul and it is the only source of foolish love, I mean Lust. This is called Animal soul because Animals possess it and when it comes to humans, it combines with the rational soul which reduces its animal effect. A person based on these characteristics further has degrees, for example the more we think the more we are rational. Anyways this Animal soul is the result of impurity of heart and that is why Shariah doesnt allow Muslim men and women to interact with each other unless they are Mehram, I believe. It is true that love between wife and husband or between son/ daughter and mother/ father is eternal based on the amount of affection we receive from them. Therefore I conclude that this love is the result of the impurity of heart and we all should avoid falling in love which has no fruitful end. We shouldnt spoil our life by falling in these kind of satanic traps, neither the Shariah allows us to love with a na-mahram nor our Aql and if we pretend to be a Muslim then we must follow what Shariah demands and if we pretend to be an intelligent one then we should listen to our rational soul instead of animal soul. #ZeeshanHaider
