L/Stone woman dies in crash By CHILA NAMAIKO- A Lusaka woman captivated by the soccer euphoria, died in an accident in Livingstone after the match between Germany and Brazil on Tuesday night. Hazel Chileshe, 31, of Lusaka’s Salama Park, died on the spot due to alleged speeding along Mosi-O-Tunya Road in the tourist capital. Ms Chileshe, who was in the company of two people believed to be her relatives, was alleged to have been celebrating the 7-1 victory by Germany against Brazil in the on-going World Cup matches in Brazil. Southern Province deputy police chief Milner Muyambango confirmed the incident which happened around 22:20 hours opposite Zanaco Bank offices. Mr Muyambango said Ms Chileshe, who was driving a Toyota Harrier registration number ALL 5866, careered off the road and rammed into concrete pillars near Livingstone’s Pep Stores. He said that Ms Chileshe sustained fatal head injuries after being thrown out of her vehicle due to the impact. Mr Muyambango said the unidentified passengers survived with multiple injuries. He, however, said, the passengers bolted shortly after the accident happened and were on the run. The Police Chief said the body of Ms Chileshe was in the Livingstone General Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem and burial.
