#LA COUNCILMEMBER PARKS TO INTRODUCE $75,000 REWARD MOTION TO HELP SOLVE DEATH OF EDDY MARSHALL LEWIS, JR. AND INJURY TO ANTHONY ALEXANDER, JR. WHAT: The Los Angeles City Council will vote on a reward motion, introduced by Councilmember Bernard C. Parks, to provide a reward in the amount of $75,000 for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Eddy Marshall Lewis, Jr. and injury to Anthony Alexander, Jr. The detective working on the case and family members will be present. The reward motion is attached to this advisory. On October 25, 2014 at approximately 12:20 a.m., Eddy Marshall Lewis Jr. and Anthony Alexander Jr. were seated in a parked car in the 800 block of West 84th Street in Los Angeles when an unknown individual in dark colored clothing walked up to the car and fired several shots at the vehicle. Mr. Lewis was fatally wounded in the shooting, and Mr. Alexander was injured and transported to a hospital. Detectives are continuing to investigate this case and hope that a monetary reward compels members of the public to provide information on this crime.
