LA, California: City Council Member Ali Sajad Taj on Thursday conferred special recognition - Award to Rishi Dhakal Honorary Consulate of Nepal in California,USA for his contribution to the community through different economic activities. City Council Member Ali Sajad Taj handed over America Nepal Chamber of Commerce special recognition Award and certificate to Rishi Dhakal, Honorary Consulate of Nepal in California, USA. Speaking at the interaction program, Founding President of Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce Felix B. Lopez said the community can achieve positive economic results through joint effort of the US government and private sector. He also stressed the need for better understanding between the US government and private sector to translate policies and programs of the US government for achieving better economic results. President, America Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Gokul Paudel said the special recognition will be continue. “The America Nepal Chamber of Commerce will continue to honor exemplary business people and organizations in the future as well,” he added. Rishi Dhakal, Honorary Consulate of Nepal in California, USA and CEO of California, USA -based Rising International Inc, said the recognition by the America Nepal Chamber of Commerce had encouraged him to do more for the community & motherland. Likewise, Parimal Shah, California-based Indian origin American entrepreneur, expressed happiness for the recognition. “The recognition will encourage other Asian and forms to come and invest in USA,” added Shah.
