LA gourmet dessert truck, Cool Cow, now has an immediate opening for kitchen/truck staff. In this hybrid role you will be assisting in production of our specialty gelato bars and scoops in our LA kitchen facility, as well as occasionally working on our truck at special events. Duties of the position include but are not limited to: Kitchen - - Making gelato/sorbet/frozen yogurt bars and scoops - Decorating dessert bars - Dishwashing - Kitchen Maintenance (cleaning, mopping, etc.) - Preparing orders for catering and other special events Truck- - Taking orders - cashier - Truck maintenance (cleaning, washing dishes) - Delivering exceptional customer service Hours of the position are typically M-F 10:00 AM - 4 PM in the kitchen and occasional weekdays as well as weekends on the truck from 3:30 PM to 10 PM. The ideal candidate should be flexible with time as there can be occasional changes to schedule. Candidates should also possess the following characteristics: - Courteous - Punctual ( must be on time - if you cannot be on time, please do not apply) - Quick learner - Enthusiastic - Passionate about desserts and ice cream ( foodies welcome!)
