LAB SURRENDERED WITH LARGE TUMOR HAS TAKEN UNEXPECTED TURN. IF CANCER IS FOUND TODAY, WE WANT TO MAKE TRIXIE AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE AND ASK FOR THOSE WHO CAN HELP TO PLEASE CALL WILMINGTON ANIMAL HOSPITAL. WE WANT HER TO KNOW SHE IS LOVED AND GIVE HER OUR BEST. Back in the summer when we first had Trixie placed into our care, we had surgery performed, and we thought that we were in the clear. Unfortunately, Trixie has been showing signs of failing health for the past couple of days, and we are asking for those who may have had a cat or dog with cancer that can empathize with us, that either keep her in your prayers, or if you can help provide monetarily for her to call Wilmington animal hospital, which is where she will be today at 2:40 PM. Trixie is a young lab, around 5 to 6 years old, and we were hoping to adopt her out to a wonderful family. We can say, that she is with a wonderful foster family, who fosters special-needs animals and we received glowing recommendations for any animal that might be placed into their care. Trixie will be seen today, and we are asking for those That can contribute to her care, to please join with us to try and fight to keep Trixie thriving and comfortable if that is what we are looking at. Mast cell cancer is what is suspected. We are being told that this type of cancer is very a very progressive disease, that takes the life of these precious babies quite quickly. Please help us with this precious girl, no amount of donation will be turned away by this hospital. The number is 910-791-7101 On a footnote, Miss Trixie was Hosted on a television program for animals needing adoption, and everyone enjoyed spending time with her, saying that she was a precious and sweet girl. She did however turn out to be a dog that was not good with cats, however she has won the hearts of everyone that has met her.
