LACYF would like to wish all of you our brothers; sisters; mothers and fathers a Marry Christmas and a Wonderful New year. This forum has just turned two years because of all of your contributions. It hasnt been easy running this forum from day one. You however made sure that you support this initiative that prides itself by members like you. We hope we managed to assist all of you one way or another through information we provide on our page and workshops we have managed to organised with various stakeholders. We do believe that we are not perfect and always feel free to correct us when we are wrong because without you we are nothing. We will keep advocating for the development of Limpopo creative sector and its people without fear or favour. We know that there are people who are trying to block progress that we are trying to make in this province because they are used to manipulating our artists and using our people. The Forum havent received any funds in the last two years of its existence and it was advocating for development of arts and culture from a zero budget. We are therefore calling upon all of you to support the work of the forum through donations and in kind support so that the dreams of our forefathers are realised in our life time. The Forum has a lot of programmes that are planned for 2015 Financial year and we believe these programmes will change the lives of people in totality. We will make sure that we update you on our successes; challenges and failures in January 2015. All those progressive artists who want us to established this forum in all provinces should know that they requests did not fell on deaf ears. In due time we will implement the wishes of our people. We would also like to thank all our provincial leadership & districts co-ordinators across the province for pushing the agenda of LACYF on a zero budget. History will remember us and the books will be written for generations to come. It is important that everyone defend this organization of Artists from any attack. 2015 will be a very different & progressive year for all our artists. All those who are seating comfortable on artists progress will be confronted without fear. If the system is failing to fulfil the needs of our people; it should be fixed so that it is able to respond to challenges of today and the future. May the Good Lord bless you as you drive to all your destinations this festive season. Remember to pray; fasten your seatbelts and stay alert at all times.
