Ephesians 5:25 - Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; ((( TRUE GODLY WIVES ))) AS YOULL SEE IN THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURES, A GODLY WIFE MUST BE SUBMITTED TO HER HUSBAND. BEING SUBMITTED TO HER HUSBAND BASICALLY MEANS TO BE OBEDIENT. THE OPPOSITE OF SUBMISSION IS REBELLION, STRIFE, AND CONTENTION. MANY OF TODAYS REBELLIOUS WOMAN WOULD NEVER SUBMIT TO THEIR HUSBANDS, FOR THEY ARE FULL OF PRIDE AND THEY REFUSE TO OBEY GODS COMMAND CONCERNING THEIR ROLES IN THE MARRIAGE. THE MAN IS THE LEADER AND THE HEAD OF HIS HOUSEHOLD. THE ROLE OF A GODLY WIFE IS TO BE SUBMITTED TO HER HUSBANDS LEADERSHIP, AS COMMANDED BY GOD. THERE ARE MANY UNGODLY WOMAN TODAY WHO BELITTLE THEIR HUSBANDS AND TAKE OVER THE LEADERSHIP ROLE IN THE MARRIAGE. HOWEVER, GOD IS NOT PLEASED WITH THESE WICKED DISOBEDIENT WOMAN. SOME WOMAN LOVE TO USE GALATIANS 3:28 OUT OF CONTEXT, WHICH REFERS TO SPIRITUALLY, AND HOW WE ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST. HOWEVER, YOU CANNOT USE GALATIANS 3:28 AGAINST THE MANY SCRIPTURES BELOW. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- EPH 5:22 TO 26. 22) Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24) Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25) Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- TITUS 2:5.
