Akinwunmi Ambode, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate for Lagos state may soon be arrested by the Nigerian Police Force, over lying on (JAMB) form, reports Nigerian tribune. According to the report, Ambode will be arrested on grounds of alleged criminal conduct following a petition alleging perjury against the APC candidate. A petition authored by Lagos APC Integrity Group accused Ambode of lying on oath by claiming in his Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination form in 1981 that he was from Ilaje in Ondo State, only to claim in his APC nomination form, on oath again, to be from Epe in Lagos State, during the governorship primary contest.
