LAGUNA GOES ORGANIC. The Provincial Govt. of Laguna under the leadership of Gov. Ramil L. Hernandez launched the 1st Laguna Organic Agriculture Congress, with the theme “ Sa Organiko Panalo Tayo, Kaya’t Lagunenyo Para sa Iyo Ito”. With the collaborative efforts of the Department of Agriculture, Reg.IV-A through the Provincial Agriculture office headed by Mr. Marlon Tobias. Among the highlights of the event are the awarding of OA Achievers which demonstrated exemplary in the implementation of organic agriculture programs. This congress was organized to be able to explore strategies in agriculture and organic farming. One of the activities of the three day congress were the trade fair expo wherein the Lagunense’s were able to buy organic products.
