LAHORE (Dunya News) – Gullu Butt’s lawyer argued before Justice Qasim Khan of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday that two member bench of LHC has granted bail to Gullu Butt in vandalism case but he is still detained on the orders of Home Secretary, which is an unlawful and unconstitutional step.Butt’s lawyer also informed that record regarding Gullu Butt’s detention has not been submitted as well whereas Home Secretary informed that Gullu Butt’s release might entice agitation disrupting the law and order situation.Court inquired to detain the police officer who was encouraging Gullu Butt as well, to which the public prosecutor responded that investigation has already begun against that police officer.After hearing the arguments the court declared Gullu Butt’s detention illegitimate and ordered to release him immediately.Dunya News Tv
