Parade/Reunion Dennis DeGilio, Louis Degilio, Mary Ehrhardt Murdock, Kristina Babcock Begbie, Robert J White, Robert Frasca, Nancy Frasca-Fueyo, 1st off, The Vets use their instruments from the time they get to LG until the time they leave so their help is out as far as using their EQ is concerned. Besides, if we put something together theyd want to jam with us. As you have probably figure out already, Im in! The 1st matter wed need to figure out is How Many Would Be Involved... How Many Instruments Would We Need? I go to Lake George every year for the convention as does Robert White I think. Putting 4 or 5 songs together should be easy Id say. Tom Alexander is another one who always goes to the convention. If we can get 10-15 horn players, 4 snare & 2 bass players & 3 or 4 bells we could do this. I remember the horn parts & Tommy knows all the drum parts ( even the VanHouten Shuffle lol). Let me know. Ill try every fire department in the area to see if they need a musical unit for the parade. The TZB marches 6 bands in the parade so Id say we can probably get a FD. Wed need to put this together ASAP so we cant lollygag. I say We because I cant go at this alone. I can also get 3 sops to help out that play all the time and will know the music. We can wear green polo shirts that say 2015 Shamrock Reunion Drum Corps & plain green baseball caps or visors. My friend owns On The Job Embroidery so we would get a great price. Let me know what everyone thinks. I know theres a lot of alumni that would love to do this. If theres a will, theres a way! It would be great to see everyone again, have a beer and say goodbye to the good old days to the corps that taught me how to play the trumpet & march.
