LAS VEGAS: Dont forget, tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 16th) The Animal Foundation will be going in front of the County Commissioners to ask for funding for their costly construction project. TAF ended the year last year with nearly $1.4 million in profit, why should our tax dollars be spent on a project that even TAFs own Executive Director claims will NOT guarantee to lower their abysmal 53% kill rate (see video)? If this project gets approved tomorrow it could spell disaster as it could further secure TAFs contract. We must stop them! Nothing will change unless we, as a community, take action and speak up. For the sake of my animals friends please be there. If you are unable to stay for the entire meeting, the board will probably not get to the Animal Foundation item until after 12pm.
