LAST ORDER OF THE NIGHT..... what a great feeling when you have people that literally drive across town for you food.. This wonderful couple thought it would be nice to take a drive out to the country to have some good burgers all the way from DOWNTOWN. I know for some that may not be a big deal but for someone that has been around this restaurant for 24 years seeing my mom struggle , even sometimes just staring at the street waiting for customers to come. I Even have family members and friends that would never come TO SUPPORT!!.. its been a couple of months since my mom has semi retired and allowed me to take over and Ive seen a HUGE changes. I made a promise to turn this business around and start my goal of being a great restaurateur and really learn this business.. This business was given to my mother as a gift from my grandfather at the age of 28 with no restaurant managing experience or even cooking experience outside of a house kitchen. WOW WHAT WHAT GIFT. She told him I want a restaurant and he gave it to her. Ive learned so much thru these years of what TO and NOT TO DO.... so I appreciate all the support from STRANGERS from social media that I meet and let me sell my business to them and they dont mind taking a Lil trip to the country. Youve helped me open a lot of eyes out here on the southside of San Antonio, so for that I will continue to work hard from morning to night to turn this place around to what my mother and grandfather onced invisioned. For those people who are from the area and actually giving me and EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMONDS a try MUCH LOVE AND THANK YOU. Give me some more more time and I will give this whole southside area another great restaurant to be proud of.... Thank you for letting me rant for a second but I was very blessed today having people drive from HONDO-CASTROVILLE nd my cool Lil couple from LAKE TRAVIS so this last couple touched me also...... ok! Now for a drink
