LATE/SUBSTITUTE EXAMS Substitute exams are administered by commands only for those candidates who, through no fault of their own, were unable to participate on the regularly scheduled Navy-wide examination. Acceptable reasons for taking a substitute exam include Emergency leave as defined in MILPERSMAN, Sick in Quarters (SIQ) or hospitalization, and Operational commitments (e.g. boots on ground in hostile fire area). All substitute exams must be administered within seven days of receipt. Check with your ESO for more information on the administration of substitute exams. (N32)
