LATEST BRIEFS: Miles Plane Forced landing --- The plane carrying Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa that was Kasama bound was forced to land after a reported mechanical fault. The Legislator and other passengers that rode on the private jet liner are reported to be in good condition. Sampa, a staunch Catholic and former Alter boy or mass saver was on his way to attend the burial of the late celebrated Arch-Bishop James Spaita who passed on earlier in the week. The Matero MP’s handlers have confirmed the unnerving emergency landing. -- IMMIGRATION: Lungu’s aunt questioned -- Milia Lungu, the oldest aunt of Minister of Defence and Justice Edgar Lungu has been questioned by immigration officers in Petauke according to a Radio Phoenix news report. The aunt was allegedly questioned about the whereabouts of Mr. Lungu’s mother. Allegations are that Mr. Lungu’s mother could be of foreign parentage but no specific country has been immediately assigned to his name. No independent verification has been made but Radio Phoenix confirmed the story with Mr. Lungu who is also the Minister of Justice and Secretary General of the PF.
