LATEST COOKIE DOUGH UPDATE: Today Michael visited Cookie in the ICU again. He shared with her all the tremendous blessings, love & community support/prayers being showered upon them. I am certain, even in her present condition, she can feel the positive energy around her. This evening, Michael & my friend Kirk -- giving up time from his previous vacation to be of service (THANK YOU!) will return to the hospital for a second visit. More importantly, Michael has an appointment to talk with Cookies local doctor. At that time, they will speak with Cookies primary care advisor in SF. We hope the doctors can come to a meeting of the minds about how best to treat her. This will include discussion about continue treatment here, moving her back to the U.S. & ironing out all of her medical coverage. After this immensely important discussion, Michael & Kirk will join the cast at Stages II Theatre in Puerta Vallarta. Tonight, after much debate & slightly delayed by Cookies unexpected diva antics, The Golden Girls will open to what we hope is a wildly enthusiastic & supportive audience.
