She had a one-on-one conversation with ATN officers and she denied the rumors that she was being maltreated. It was a matter of “culture shock” and misunderstanding, she said, and she has since willingly continued to work for her employer. She was able to contact her father in the Philippines while she was in the Embassy, and ATN officers also spoke with the father. ATN officers also worked out an arrangement with the employer wherein they would allow her to call her family in the Philippines upon her request. 2) Ms. FEBAL RIO FELIO She is currently detained in Al Nisa Jail for theft. She was arrested on 5 August. ATN officers are already aware of her case and are monitoring developments.
