LATEST: In the ongoing meeting with PRJA executives in Cape Town in SOUTH AFRICA yesterday, the convener and PRJAs Sec Gen Prof John NKUNNU commended the UNITED NATION for the pledge to triple in 2014 the UNs annual grand to them due to what the UN said PRJAs impressive performance across Africa in 2013. Prof NKUNNU emphasized that it remains the strict policy of PRJA or any of its members not to collect any form of grand or assistance to finance the huge task of the body from ANY African leader so as to maintain its independence. He congratulated the Leadership of PRJA under Adamu A. GWARZO who could not attend the crucial meeting due to engagement in Nig & said that PRJA has resolved to write to the Nigs Police boss thru the UN to protest the treatment & blackmail of one of its member, Tukur MAMU.
