LATEST LEAGUE NEWS - WEDNESDAY 2ND OCTOBER MATCH REPORT It’s crazy to see we’re into October already. Where did the summer go..?! In the first game of the night AC A Little Silhouetto of a Man won 2-1 against Lucky Winners FC. It was a 2-0 to AC at half time and they looked comfortable throughout. Lucky did manage to pull a consolation goal back before the full time whistle. AC make it two wins out of two and go top of the table. Lucky lose their second game on the trot and sit in eighth. In the 7.30pm kick off Glitterati FC won 5-1 against Wickham Wanderers. Glitterati played well throughout and were 2-0 up at half time. Glitterati were too strong for Wickham and will be pleased for a good team performance. The win sees Glitterati move to third position having now drawn one and won one. Wickham are bottom of the table having lost their two opening fixtures. In the next game of the night Unreal Madrid won 2-0 against Money Can’t Buy This. It was a solid performance from Unreal who looked strong and played some good football. Money missed a couple of key players and were beaten by the better side on the night. Unreal now maintain an unbeaten start to the season and sit in fourth. Money are down in ninth having lost both opening games. In the 8.30pm kick off Smokin’ Aces won 2-1 against THC FC. It was a close game with both sides going close. It was Smokin’ who led 1-0 at half time and went on to win the game. Smokin’ make it two wins out of two and sit second in the table – they will be pleased with their excellent start to the campaign. THC FC have won one and now lost one and sit in sixth position. In the 9pm kick off Newbury Park beat Two Goals One Cup 5-2. It was an excellent attacking game with 7 goals scored. Park will be happy to have beaten Two Goals who went well in the Premiership last season. Park have lost one and won one and sit in fifth position. The loss sees Two Goals move down from top position to seventh.
