LAUGHABLE GHANA POLICE AND LAWS! It is becoming interesting, In fact, increasingly interesting in the Republic of Ghana. kwaw Kese arrested for smoking cannabisl(myjoyonline, Date: 24-11-2014 Time: 07:11:51:am) Chris Brown will face justice if what he smoked on stage is proven to be wee – Ghana Police ( Myjoyonline March 13, 2013, 11:34 GMT) When the former news broke out , I couldnt stop wondering in laughter and in complete amazement of how Ghana police can sometimes make name for themselves, probably to mend their already tainted image. Kwaw Kese smoking marihuana is not a news, as he himself put it, but smoking it in public became a news and a crime under our laws. It is in order the police arrested him to prove that the law only applies on the weak and some of our own in the country. But wasnt this same Ghana police who looked on aloofly and sheepishly unconcerned when Chris Brown mounted the stage and smoked marijuana and, in fact, gave him a police escort to the airport? So is it that some people are so powerful than our laws so that the laws have to succumb to their whims and caprices than vise versa? Ghana police has proven to us Chris Brown is superhuman, and Kwaw Kesie subhuman. People have stolen tubers of yams and tomatoes and they are in prisons rotting. Others have stolen billions of Ghana cedis, looting state assets, but are free people living and driving in opulence in the metropolitan cities. This is Ghana for you! The Republic of Selective Justice! Justice is for sale and the highest bidder gets it. we make laws as a country to sell our state assets to foreign capitalist interest, in fact, laws are made to subvert our sovereignty. Foreigners are so powerful that they dictate retail markets, whilst others are degrading our environment through illegal mining(GALAMSEY), trees are being illegally felled and logged into timber for export. Cocaine smuggling here and there. Under the watch and custody of Ghana police, cocaine turned into kokonte! Legendary miracle! In fact, what a country!! Laws are selected and applied. I do not condone what kwaw Kese did, neither am I joining the chorus of tempering justice with mercy, but I do sympathize. My concern here, as simple as it is, is that, lets apply our laws fairly and justly so that the weak and helpless are not made unfortunate victims of wrongful acts. There are serious issues of wrongful and criminal acts, and thats where we must see our laws working strictly well. I will very soon declare my position on the legalization or otherwise of marijuana, but my basic advise is that, lets as citizens respect the laws! GHANA POLICE YOU HAVE DONE LAUGHABLY WELL!! AYEKOO OFFICERS OF ONE GHANA CEDIS!! ATM! #YourMindAndEyesForDey!
